WOW! I really dropped the ball on keeping up on the blog this year we have had a good year with a a little surprise that most everyone knows about by now. Lets go back to March we found out that we will be having another baby, I was in complete shock(I cried ALOT for the first13 weeks) even though we know how babies are made we were definitely not planning this, she will now be here in 15 weeks and I am getting excited for her arrival I cant wait to see what and who she looks like, Amanda refers to her as the born baby and is so excited and has been since we told her, she loves being a big sister, Savannah on the other hand would have been completely happy being an only child, I'm pretty sure she cried as hard as I did when we told her the big news, and well Isabella poor girl she loves getting all the attention I hope she will adjust OK, I'm more worried about me adjusting to having two babies, I just keep telling myself it was meant to be. Little Miss Bella turned one on April 5th and we celebrated with friend s and family it was a good day she wasn't to sure about digging into her cake she didn't want her hand to get dirty, she is 16 months now and so smart and full of sass her favorite word is Nooo! In May we headed to Disneyland for Savannah's 10th birthday it was so fun we went down with our good friends Sean&Dez and there cute kids Megan who also has the same birthday as Savannah and there little boy Aiden who Amanda just loves the last day we were there we met up with the Bird family for a little fun at the beach before heading back home to the cold weather of Salt Lake, what the hell rain rain rain till the end of June that was crazy, Amanda turned 5 on the 8th of June we were planning an outside Hannah Beach party birthday, but we ended up partying inside thank goodness she invited Santa to her party he came from his vacation in Hawaii just to visit her on her special day, he brought her a real flower lai necklace
and treats for her and all her friends, it was a fun fun day. July summer finally arrived we spent time at the zoo a little swimming at great grandmas the splash park, we tried the new cowabunga bay out that was great the girls loved it, July has been fun, crazy and busy, Isabella broke her wrist over the 24th(we wont talk about that) and Savannah and Amanda started school I can't believe I have a 5th grader and a Kindergartner time goes by so fast its unreal now we are approaching the end of August I am so glad we are off track for a few weeks, School was a little rough for Amanda she is not a morning girl thank goodness for Savannah helping her and me. I will post some pics of all the fun events over the last 6 months in a few days. And I am going to definitely try to keep up better on this blog...

Fun Filled February

I am so glad January is over February was definitely welcomed around here now if all the snow would disappear I would be SO SO SO happy, I can't wait for spring to be here so my kids can get out of this house and run and play, here are a few pictures of the girls I have had to get a little creative with things to do to fill the days, the normal movie nights and UNO isn't cutting it so we decided to have a little spa day I let the girls make lip gloss, and a facial mask made with oat mill, mashed bananas and honey, then they did foot massages on each other, they had a blast especially Amanda when it was her turn to put a mask on Savannah she wasn't as nice about putting just a little bit on and then rubbing it in she thought more was better.

(thank goodness it tasted good)

VALENTINES DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE

CRAZY 2009

Well I have already neglected my blog this year I am going to try and stay on top of it but its been crazy around here, you would think with Christmas done and over it would be a little more relaxed, not here though Matt had back surgery on January 13Th and so he pretty much can do nothing which sucks for him, if you know Matt he can't sit still he has always got to be doing something, and it really sucks for me because he is so helpful around here with the kids even with helping me around the house, so it been crazy trying to get back into a routine of some sorts, its been almost 2 weeks since the surgery and everyday I can tell he his getting a little better so hopefully the surgery will have been worth all he has had to deal with, and in a few months are life's can be back to normal.I also have a little story for you, on the 20TH of this month I went to drop Amanda off at preschool when we pulled up there was a firetruck outside of Ms. Wendi's house, the neighbor ran over to tell me that the family had got carbon monoxide poisoning in the night and there daughter who brings her child to preschool in the mornings had found her parents and siblings, she was able to wake her sister and brother up but her dad could barley speak and could not move and Ms.Wendi could not wake up she is still in ICU but her health is improving daily, so anyway we have talked about buying a CO detector a lot and when this happened we went and bought one they are pretty cheap $25.00 - 50.00 bucks so I would encourage all of you to get one today don't procrastinate just do it.

Ms. Wendi is amazing and we hope she is feeling better soon, Amanda is missing her and her friends at preschool and can't wait to get back with them.
